Yes, the Mighty Monkey Playset is absolutely easy for kids to use. Of course, kids on the younger end of the age range (around 3 years) are going to need some guidance the first time through ? but not after that. Kids happily took to this adorable playset, creating their own playground experience ? and loving every minute of it!
It?s not that the pieces included in the set aren?t durable ? it?s just that there are quite a few of them ? and in cases where there are lots of pieces and little hands we?re always worried about pieces getting lost. If you have kids that care for their toys well, then no worries. If your kids are more like ours, you?ll need to help in clean-up to make sure no pieces end up missing.
Kids love the adorable monkeys and bright colors of this super-visual playset. And we can?t blame them, the adults in the group were attracted to the set in the same way that the kids were!
The thing that we love most about this playset is that there are no rules ? at all. Kids can use their imagination to create the Monkey Playset of their dreams ? building it the same each time, or creating custom designed playsets every time they play. In our book it doesn?t get any better than giving the kids the tools ? then letting their imagination run wild!
With a suggested retail price of just under $30 ? the Mighty Monkey Playset is a bit pricey. Yes, there are plenty of pieces to keep kids happily entertained, and you can see where some of the dollars go, but $30 for a kids toy is a pretty large investment for a lot of families. The good thing is that we found kids really enjoyed playing with this playset over and over again ? helping offset the higher price with lots and lots of use.
We?ve seen other building sets, but we haven?t seen too many playground themed, and none monkey themed! The bright colors and fun pieces come together to create a truly original toy!
Overall we really enjoyed playing with the Mighty Monkey Playset (I mean the kids enjoyed!). It is so easy to use, even younger children can jump right in. Yes, we are concerned about missing pieces, but with a little clean-up help from Mom and Dad durability isn?t much of an issue. As we stated earlier ? our favorite part is that kids get to use their imagination to create, build, recreate and rebuild ? to us it doesn?t get better than that!
