Living Your Passionate Life

Is any part of your life boring or mediocre? Yuck! Let go of that right now, because it's time to get PASSIONATE about who you are and what you're here to do!

What's passion? It's "a powerful emotion, such as love, joy, hatred, or anger; ardent love; strong sexual desire; lust; the object of such love or desire; boundless enthusiasm or the object of such enthusiasm; an abandoned display of emotion", and so on.

Let's look at passion as powerfully focused emotion/enthusiasm. Your passions are the best indicator of what you are here to do. Before coming to this planet, we agreed to a veil from our eternal selves, so that part can only speak to us through our emotions, saying "yes, that one" or "no, not this way". The more passionate you are on a topic, the more likely it is to be part of what you are here to do. Check out these questions to clarify your passions:

What do you LOVE? What do you KNOW? What do you DESIRE? What do you EXCEL AT? What do you FOCUS ON? What do you SEE that others don't? What do you need to INTEGRATE?

Let's look at these components one by one?

What do you LOVE? When you love someone/something, then you automatically see the best in it, and willingly care and support it. This opens up your compassion and light. You think and feel more about whatever you love, and this increases your desire to learn about it. Remember when you were in love? And how you wanted to know EVERYTHING about your beloved? Well, some people feel the same about medicine, design, or engineering, and it that topic is part of your blueprint, you will have a similar enduring fascination. So what you love is going to be part of what you are here to do. In fact, learning to love is one of our required courses here in God School.

What do you KNOW? Your passion/purpose is always going to combine your talents and experiences. Whatever you did and learned in the past adds to your unique skill set and perspective, and both serve your divine blueprint.

What do you DESIRE? What do you lean in to? What do you feel the lack of when it's absent, and enjoy when it reappears? I believe that desire is your firmest connection between your higher self and your human self, between the seen and unseen fields. Through desire - passion - your eternal self is attempting to guide you using emotion. Expanded feelings mean "go here - do this!" Contracted or negative feelings mean "not this one". So you can use your passions to find out what you are here to do, be and have.

What do you EXCEL AT? If you are designed to do something specific, you can be sure that God wouldn't send you out without the resources to fulfill your assignment. So you come fully loaded with the talents and programs you require to be excellent and successful! So many people think about what might work for them, rather than listening to what their inner blueprint calls for. People who go the conventional route tend to get burnt out by their 40s, because the work they do is out of alignment for their lives. It's so much more efficient and enjoyable to listen within and find out what programs you already have, and what you require to polish that up and express it. Mozart had a innate genius for composition; he just needed to practice the piano, and fortunately was born to a father who taught keyboards. Now, that's the way to learn excellence!

What do you FOCUS ON? You always focus on what's important to you, for good or ill, and what you focus on expands in your life. Some people focus suffering, martyrdom, poverty and depression, and guess what they attract? Assuming you're ready to let go of learning through struggle, your focus says a lot about what your Spirit wants for you. What's are you focused on? Staying fit and healthy? Be a trainer. Spiritual issues? Become a spiritual coach, like me! Numbers and order? You may be a natural accountant, keep an orderly home and have your hair cut every month! Your focus leads everywhere in your life, not just your profession - though it's best if you take up a profession that uses your natural focus! Fortunately it's take about two minutes to identify your natural focus, because (of course) you'll be spending a lot of time doing whatever that is. Your focus should tell you what what you are passionate about in life.

What do you SEE that others don't see? This identifies your area of service, AND what you are passionate about. Serving humanity, the planet, and God (however you think of God) is about seeing problems and wonderful solutions that create better conditions for everyone. In order to solve a problem, you have to see that there is a problem. The more clearly you see a particular problem, the more likely it is that you are part of the solution, and the greater passion you will have for solving it.

What do you need to INTEGRATE? Most of us have issues that need to be resolved, and goals that need to be integrated so that we can get back in alignment with who we truly are. Integration means bringing your goals into harmony with your inner bio-computers so that what you desire becomes possible for you. Most of us have to work at it, because family and social expectations can be distracting until you learn to focus on being YOU all the time.
