This is a question from a study guide for my Indian Civ midterm that I am having trouble grasping:
Unlike in much of western history, religion, philosophy and science have complemented each other in the Indian mindset. Discuss this theme with references to ancient Indian scientific and mathematical ideas and their complementarity with fundamental religious ideas and practices. Why are modern physicists drawn to ancient Indian thoughts?
Does anyone have any thoughts or know any resources that would lead me in the right direction?
